Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm Omar, and while this site offers a glimpse into my professional world, there's more to me than meets the eye. I'll spare you the details of my love of Baldur's Gate, the CRPG genre in general and my penchant for sci-fi novels, but lets just say outside of my suit (of armour) I'm a very much a geek at heart... Or as Claude puts it a "Binary Baron". 😂

What this site will divulge however, is my rather keen interest in technology. And when I say 'keen', I mean total fascination. AI, in particular, completely blows my mind almost daily. What can be achieved today with AI is in my opinion nothing short of a miracle for humankind. A gift, that must be used correctly to provide everyone with more knowledge and thus more opportunity.

The Renaissance was but the appetiser; we now eagerly anticipate the main course in this grand feast of human progress. We stand at the threshold of an unprecedented era, where our collective ingenuity is bearing fruit at an astonishing pace. This technological acceleration promises to elevate humanity in ways we're only beginning to imagine. For me, being a mere spectator was never an option. I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to participate, however modestly, in this extraordinary chapter of our shared story. Driven by an unwavering determination, I aim to contribute to a future where technology helps us address our most pressing global challenges. While the road ahead is long, I believe we will achieve more in the next decade than any of us can even imagine today. 

With over 15 years in sales and account management, I've developed an innate ability for delivering value efficiently and effectively. I'm committed to excellence; take pride in fostering positive, collaborative relationships and pride myself on providing a gold standard service to clients. Transparency and integrity are fundamental to my approach, both professionally and personally. These are principles I live by. My journey thus far has been driven by an insatiable curiosity. Whether it's exploring new technologies, honing additional skills, or meeting interesting people, I approach each experience with genuine enthusiasm.

Over the past year, I've dedicated myself to expanding my knowledge in cloud computing, Python, and Java programming. It's been a fascinating dive into the depths of modern tech. Currently, I'm working on a FinTech idea set to launch later this year. The rapid advancements in AI continue to amaze me daily, and I'm determined to be part of this technological revolution.
